As a new development direction of China’s economy and society,the proportion of Internet economy in China’s GDP is gradually increasing,but,various problems also appear.Some Internet enterprises stand out in the competition and become oligarchs in the market.It is common for them to abuse their dominant market position for their own interests,which is different from the business model of traditional industries,The Internet industry usually adopts the platform based business strategy.Therefore,when regulating the relevant enterprises in the Internet industry,it also needs to be different from the traditional industry.Because the Internet platform has the characteristics of network,dynamic competition and bilateral market,the traditional anti-monopoly legal regulation methods are inevitably unable to cope with the Internet platform,and even come to a conclusion that violates common sense.Based on the basic theory of the abuse of market dominance by Internet platforms and in connection with the development of China’s Internet industry,this paper investigates and analyzes the abuse of market dominance by Internet platforms.Starting from the new characteristics of Internet platform market dominance,this paper expounds the laws and regulations related to China’s dominant position in the Internet platform market,and points out the innovation compared with the traditional anti-monopoly law;At the same time,considering that China started late in the field of Internet platform monopoly,this paper also refers to the relevant experience of other countries in this field,and finally puts forward opinions and suggestions,which need to deal with the challenge of Internet platform abuse of market dominance from the aspects of legislation,law enforcement and justice.Preventing and stopping the abuse of market dominance by Internet platforms is inseparable from the protection of the legal system.For the sustainable development of China’s Internet platform industry,we need to be based on the legal status and development of the Internet platform field,start from the practice of regulating the abuse of market dominance by Internet platforms,focus on improving anti-monopoly legislation,build legal mechanisms such as law enforcement and supervision,clarify responsibilities and establish legal mechanisms in line with China’s national conditions,And a legal system that can ensure the vigorous development of the Internet platform industry.
