With the deepening of the aging society,how to keep pace with the aging society has become a hot topic.Intergenerational support is a form of demonstrating the material and spiritual ties between parents and children.Subjective satisfaction reflects the satisfaction of individuals after comparing their ideal life with real life.To a certain extent,it can also reflect the level of individual quality of life.Therefore,the subjective satisfaction of the elderly can reflect the quality of life of the elderly under the current pension mode to a certain extent.The subjective satisfaction of the elderly to their children can reflect the intergenerational relationship between the two generations,and to some extent reflect the family harmony.In the traditional Chinese family pension model,how to build a good intergenerational relationship and how to improve the subjective well-being of the elderly through intergenerational support has always been a hot topic that every family and even the entire society are paying attention to.This research focuses on the heterogeneity and influencing factors of the subjective satisfaction of the elderly to their offspring from the perspective of intergenerational support.Use the latest 2018 data from CHARLS for empirical analysis,and select indicators to construct a personal characteristic endowment variable group,economic intergenerational support variable group,instrumental intergenerational support variable group,and affective intergenerational support Variable group.Explore the intergenerational support and the elderly to children the heterogeneity of subjective satisfaction and influence factors,describes the current our country social old family intergenerational relationships of the basic outline,find the intergenerational support form,suitable for different types of the elderly need to study for decision makers to make public policy and perfect family pension mode to provide some reference value.The premise of the thesis research is literature retrieval and analysis in order to obtain relevant theoretical basis and research ideas for the thesis research.After collecting and sorting out literature on intergenerational support and subjective satisfaction of the elderly,this thesis understands the specific progress of relevant research and empirical analysis model,and summarizes the existing research,laying a foundation for later thesis writing.The PSM propensity score matching method and Logit-probit model were used to explore the overall effect analysis and influencing factors of the elderly’s subjective satisfaction with their offspring from the perspective of intergenerational support,and the Logit model was used to conduct heterogeneity analysis of sub-samples,so as to obtain the demand tendency of different types of elderly people for intergenerational support types.The research results show that in terms of economic intergenerational support,the offspring’s provision of certain financial support to the parent will have a significant positive impact on the subjective satisfaction of the parent;while the financial support given by the parent to the offspring can improve the subjective satisfaction of the offspring.However,excessive squeezing of the meager pensions of the elderly parents will have a negative impact on the harmonious family environment.In terms of instrumental intergenerational support,the behavior of elderly parents caring for their grandchildren will have a negative effect on the subjective satisfaction of their parents.Compared with the female elderly,the male elderly will significantly reduce their satisfaction with their offspring with the increase of the time of caring for their grandchildren.In terms of emotional intergenerational support,it is necessary to look at the issue of ―whether two generations should live together‖ dialectically,and find a balance point between the two generations living together;among them,the elderly and the non-married elderly and their offspring Living together will increase the subjective satisfaction of their offspring;if the two generations do not live together,it can have a positive effect on the subjective satisfaction of the parents by increasing the frequency of emotional communication.And compared with the rural elderly,the intergenerational support behavior that helps the urban elderly improve their subjective satisfaction with their offspring presents a diversified trend.According to the conclusion of the study,some suggestions are put forward: for adult offspring,we should find a good self-positioning in family intergenerational support,establish a Chinese family model with the integration of the old and the young and the old,and form a good intergenerational model of family economy.In the family endowment,adult children assume due responsibilities,do a good job of the family "bridge",to help the elderly reduce the economic and care burden.At the same time,children improve their own initiative to take care of the elderly,actively help the elderly to adjust their psychological and emotional state,reasonable arrangement of leisure time.For the elderly parents,we should pay attention to their physical health needs and psychological and emotional health needs,strengthen the health and standardized management of the elderly mental health service system,promote the communication between two or even three generations of the family,strengthen the intervention of the elderly depression,anxiety and other psychological behavior problems.Second,promote positive values of marriage and love for the elderly,pay attention to the living conditions of the single elderly,recognize the normal emotional needs of the elderly in the state of non-marriage,reduce the pressure on the elderly and their children.For social governance,it is necessary to improve the social pension mechanism and improve the policy of providing for the aged in different places.In order to ensure that the elderly can be "supported and supported in their old age",the government needs to give full play to its policy guiding role in the intergenerational support for the elderly,organically combine family and social support for the elderly,and jointly spread the culture of filial piety and carry forward traditional virtues.
