A Narrative Research On The Report Of The Most Beautiful Grassroots Cadres In People’s Daily

Establishing and propagating advanced role models are both our party’s traditional work method and play an important role in the guidance of public opinion.The propaganda of advanced model figures is an important part of the news media to carry forward the socialist spiritual civilization and sing the main theme.It is of great practical significance to explore the different narrative characteristics presented by the news media in the reports of advanced model figures,to enhance their dissemination effects,and to exert their educational and guiding functions.Based on the theoretical basis of news narrative,this thesis takes the 203 reports of "the most beautiful grassroots cadres" published in People’s Daily from the beginning of the column of "the most beautiful grassroots cadres" to December 31,2020 as the research object,and mainly uses The main methods of content analysis,text analysis and case analysis are used to summarize their narrative laws.The research systematically analyzes and composes the narrative discourse of "the most beautiful grassroots cadres",and further reveals the meaning construction of "the most beautiful grassroots cadres" in People’s Daily.It is found that the column "The most beautiful grassroots cadres" in the "post-typical era" is selected to match the characteristics of the times,and creates a vivid personality with "fireworks";the narrators are pluralistic and convey warmth;the narrative perspectives are cross-used to construct a three-dimensional character image;the narrative time is multiple combinations to grasp the narrative rhythm;the narrative structure is reasonably used to enrich the text level;the narrative strategy of civilianization,emotionality and storytelling grasps the resonance point of the times.This thesis looks forward to analyzing the image of the "most beautiful grassroots cadres" portrayed by People’s Daily using narrative theory and fitting scientific and quantitative analysis ideas to reproduce the "most beautiful" in the "post-typical era"."How the image of typical characters is constructed.It is hoped that it can provide some reference for the current practice of narrative methods in typical character reporting,and provide experience for other traditional media to tell Chinese character stories well in the new era.
