| Public awareness is an important symbol of modern civilization.The public awareness of citizens is not only a manifestation of personal accomplishments,but also a symbol of national quality.The construction of a socialist harmonious society requires citizens to have public awareness,participate in public life in an orderly manner,and consciously practice public ethics.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that it is necessary to pay attention to front-line workers,migrant workers,and disadvantaged workers and other groups,and strive to enable workers to achieve decent work and all-round development.The new generation of migrant workers are "new citizens" born under the background of social transformation.The size of the group continues to expand with the intensification of social mobility,and has gradually become the mainstay of migrant workers and the main force in urban construction.The cultivation of public awareness of the new generation of migrant workers is not only an inherent need for the new generation of migrant workers to improve their comprehensive literacy: the development of public awareness literacy helps the new generation of migrant workers to participate in public affairs with strong public participation capabilities and high public rationality,which is reasonable Legally express realistic demands and safeguard their basic rights and interests,it will help the new generation of migrant workers to enhance their sense of responsibility,realize their life value in their work,and gain social recognition.At the same time,it is also an inevitable requirement for maintaining social stability and development: the development of public awareness will help promote the harmonious integration of citizens and the new generation of migrant workers,resolve social conflicts,and achieve social integration,it will help the new generation of migrant workers and citizens share urban development Achievements,improve the sense of belonging in the city,and promote the construction of a new type of “people-oriented” urbanization,help give full play to the creativity of the new generation of migrant workers,participate in social governance with the citizens,build a harmonious society,and create a social governance of co-construction,co-governance and sharing pattern.This paper takes the cultivation of public awareness of the new generation of migrant workers as the theme,and through questionnaire surveys and related literature research,it is found that the new generation of migrant workers have developed in terms of awareness of public order norms,awareness of public rights and interests,awareness of public environmental resources,and awareness of public participation in management,but there are also some problems that need to be solved.At present,the cultivation of public consciousness of the new generation of migrant workers in China is constrained by factors at the upper level of the system,including the household registration system and the social security system,the factors at the objective level of society,including the cultural environment of urban and rural areas and the construction of the labor market,and the subjective factors of individuals,including the sense of urban belonging and the level of education,and there are problems such as one-sided cultivation content,single cultivation method,unbalanced cultivation environment,and obstruction of cultivation paths.Therefore,under the guidance of Marx’s public ideology and socialist core values,combined with China’s traditional culture,borrowing from the theory of civic education,and aiming at the current situation of cultivating public awareness of the new generation of migrant workers,the following suggestions are made for the cultivation and promotion of public awareness of the new generation of migrant workers: Through the combination of civic compulsory education and rights education,the combination of theoretical propaganda and exemplary role,the combination of public education and personal interest appeals,improve the content of public awareness cultivation.Through the combination of offline propaganda work and online online education,consciously practice the combination of public awareness and rule constraints,improve the vocational training system of government,academy and enterprise cooperation,and innovate public awareness cultivation methods.By creating a convenient,harmonious and comfortable network environment,create a safer and more stable working environment,create a network environment with low crime and positive energy,and optimize the environment for cultivating public awareness.By improving the institutional guarantee for public awareness cultivation,broadening the channels for grassroots and online public participation,and carrying out mass public welfare cultural activities,unblock the path of public awareness cultivation. |
