| In the Second World War,all the areas occupied by the Japanese Army were under the shadow of the sexual slavery system.The sexual slavery system established by the Japanese government and military brought untold sufferings to many women.Because Shanxi has an important strategic position and rich mineral resources,Japan government must occupy Shanxi in order to complete the goal of "conquering China and dominating the world",and the sexual slavery system was established in Shanxi under such a background.No matter in the cities where the Japanese puppet ruling institutions were everywhere,or in the front line where the Eighth Route Army fought fiercely with the Japanese army,many women were raped by the Japanese military because of the establishment of the sexual slavery system.Many women in Shanxi were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese army,some women died under the ravages of the Japanese army,and some women survived,but the physical and mental trauma brought by the sexual slavery system left an indelible mark on their bodies forever.But in the 1990 s,the international community discovered the issue of "comfort women",which had been deliberately concealed by the Japanese government and ignored by the Tokyo Trial.With the help of justice figures in the international community,"comfort women" survivors from various countries have come forward to expound their victimized experiences and accuse the Japanese government of war crimes.In this context,Chinese and Japanese investigators noticed the emergence of "comfort women" survivors in Shanxi.With the help of investigators,the victims’ experiences were revealed,and they even stood in the Japanese court and appeared in the lens of Japanese media to accuse the Japanese government of crimes.Such investigation activities run through the whole process of suing the Japanese government,and did not end with the defeat of the lawsuit.Chinese and Japanese investigators continue to investigate and study in their own fields and in their own ways.Based on the investigation activities of Chinese and Japanese investigators in Shanxi,first introduced the investigators who participated in the investigation activities of "comfort women" survivors in Shanxi,then expounds the investigation process of Chinese and Japanese investigators in preparing and participating in the activities of suing the Japanese government,as well as the continuous concern and care of Chinese and Japanese investigators for the survivors of "comfort women" in Shanxi after losing the lawsuit,and it analyzes the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese investigators in the investigation methods,research perspectives and understanding of the results.Finally,it describes the significance of Chinese and Japanese investigators’ participation in the investigation of "comfort women" survivors in Shanxi.Chinese and Japanese investigators have continued their investigations to this day,and they conducted China’s longest-running investigation into the "comfort women" issue,leaving precious historical materials such as texts and videos.Through the prosecution,the survivors of "comfort women" in Shanxi explained their victimized experiences in Japanese courts,and their victimized facts were recognized by Japanese courts,which filled the gap in the study of "comfort women" and brought the issue of "comfort women" in China into the international perspective,and the victimized experiences of the survivors of "comfort women" in Shanxi have become strong evidence accusing the Japanese government of war crimes.At the same time,it has promoted China’s and the international community’s understanding of the war crimes committed by the "comfort women" system.However,the "comfort women" issue has not been truly resolved so far,and private investigators and organizations in China and Japan are still struggling with the Japanese government.I believe justice will eventually come. |
