In China’s education system,vocational education,compared with general education,is a different but equally important education.Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy and society has entered a stage of rapid development,and the demand for highly skilled and high-quality talents is growing day by day.Vocational education for cultivating technical and skilled personnel has also developed rapidly,and its social recognition is also increasing.At present,the scale of vocational education in China has become second to none in the world.There are differences between vocational education and general education,so it is necessary to establish contact with enterprises to make the training of vocational education talents more applicable,so as to improve the level and quality of education.However,due to the obvious characteristics of public products and the influence of China’s system and mechanism,vocational education,relying on the market alone,cannot effectively stimulate the enthusiasm of enterprises to participate in running schools.So the government still needs to take various forms to participate in the development of vocational education.Based on factors talked above,it is necessary for the government to adopt a variety of ways to promote efficient school-enterprise cooperation in vocational education.However,the reality is that although the central government has put forward a series of laws and regulations policy documents to promote vocational education cooperation,due to a variety of reasons,balanced-developed is not achieved in different region in one provincial area.Overall,vocational education enterprise cooperation level needs to be further improved,and if vocational education cooperation wants to achieve high quality development and serve the regional economic and social development,local government needs to adjust measures to local conditions.This paper,with L city government’s efforts to promote vocational education cooperation strategy as the main research object,tries to analyze the current L city government through half structure interview method to promote the current situation,and summarize what strategies has the L city government token to promote vocational education cooperation in recent years,such as relevant policy optimization development environment,macro planning and cooperation.with these efforts achievements have been made.But due to schools and enterprises play different social roles,cooperation goals are also different,and managed by different administrative departments,there are still some problems in the process of promoting their cooperation,such as the lack of necessary to match the regional development status of L city,the government overall planning is still insufficient,lack of effective mechanism,etc.Based on the theory of local government to promote the problems,we can get the causes of these problems.thinking of domestic and foreign local governments efforts to promote vocational education effective practice of cooperation practice,and the local government efforts to promote vocational education school cooperation we can put forward feasible optimization suggestions,such as optimizing policy and regulations system,establishing relevant mechanism,building cooperative dynamic control system,etc.,so as to promote vocational education cooperation,benefit,promote local economic development.
