In recent years,with the deepening of the reform of the supervision system,the requirements for the ability of the supervision cadre team are higher and higher.In particular,the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China incorporated the supervision work and anti-corruption work into the national governance system and governance system to make a top-level design,which opened a new vision and deployed new tasks for promoting the high-quality development of supervision work in the new era.To win a decisive victory in an all-round well-off society and to fight against poverty-stricken areas will comprehensively test the excellent ability of discipline inspection and supervision cadres.In order to deepen the reform of discipline inspection and supervision system and effectively solve its own outstanding problems,it is also urgent for the supervision organs to find a correct position at a new starting point,enhance their ability,concentrate on tackling key problems,and strengthen the foundation.In this context,the ability level of the supervision cadre team plays an important role in promoting the high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision work and comprehensively from the strict governance of the party to the in-depth.This article mainly selects W city’s supervisory cadre’s ability construction situation to start the research.It takes competency theory,human capital theory and Xi Jinping’s new age cadre team capacity-building theory as the theoretical research foundation.Through in-depth interview,questionnaire survey,literature collection and other ways,it finds that the overall effectiveness of the current W City Supervision cadre team’s ability building is better,but it still exists.This paper analyzes the causes of the problems,such as the influence of the reform of supervision system,the imperfection of system construction,the lack of systematic science of education and training,and the single positive incentive means.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of the cases of capacity building of supervisory cadres in Nanning,Shenyang,Shandong and other places,combined with the investigation,the paper puts forward six suggestions,including strengthening the selection and appointment of cadres,strengthening the system construction,deepening education and training,strengthening performance appraisal and incentive,and strengthening daily supervision and management.
