Bela Bartok(1881-1945)was a famous Hungarian composer of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.As a representative of new-nationalism music,he combined ancient folk music with Western composition techniques,which elevated the status of folk music,and had an important impact on Western harmony thinking and creative techniques in the twentieth century,and positive promoting role."Mikrokosmos" is a work of Bartok mature period of music,which contains and shows the multiple aspects and rich forms of modern musical styles and composition techniques in the first half of the twentieth century,and is also a treasure trove of harmonic techniques and harmonic forms in the twentieth century,comprehensively showing the exploration trajectory of Bartok compositional techniques.Through the analysis and research of "Small Universe",this paper can have a more comprehensive understanding of its harmonic thinking and techniques,and then explore the disintegration process of the minor and minor tone system in the nineteenth century,and further understand the depth and breadth of the pitch relationship system in the twentieth century.
