Vocabulary teaching has always been regarded as the focus of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The amount of vocabulary also restricts the learners’ Chinese level,and the morpheme factors affecting vocabulary acquisition have also been concerned by scholars.As people pay more attention to the vocabulary teaching of international Chinese,the shortcomings of traditional word-based and character-based teaching methods have been exposed.Morpheme teaching method can make up for the shortcomings of other teaching methods to a certain extent.Based on the 2755 synthetic verbs in the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(hereinafter referred to as the grade Standards),1448 monosyllabic morphemes were screened out,and 100 high-frequency morphemes and 356 morpheme items were finally determined as the research objects.The attribute analysis and assignment analysis of these morphemes and morpheme items are carried out,and their teaching suitability is calculated.Finally,the high-frequency morpheme teaching suitability grade table and high-frequency morpheme teaching suitability grade table are built,so as to provide reference and help for the more effective application of morpheme teaching method in vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.First,find out the morphemes that meet the needs of this study from the synthetic verbs of grade standard,and build a basic morpheme corpus.The word formation frequency of morphemes was investigated,and 471 high-frequency morphemes were selected.Finally,the morphemes with the top 100 words formation frequency were selected to build a high-frequency morpheme corpus for research,and the morpheme meanings were further analyzed to build a high-frequency morpheme item corpus for research.Then,the morphemes in the corpus,the pronunciation of morpheme items,grammatical categories,word formation frequency,meaning concentration and the average explicit degree of morpheme items are marked to determine the factors affecting the teaching suitability of morphemes and morpheme items.The factors that affect the suitability of morpheme teaching are: meaning concentration,first occurrence level and word formation frequency;the factors that affect the teaching suitability of morpheme items are: average explicit degree,first occurrence level and word formation frequency.After determining the influence ratio of each influencing factor,the teaching suitability of morphemes and morpheme items are classified.Through calculation and analysis,the high-frequency morpheme teaching suitability grade table and high-frequency morpheme teaching suitability grade table are built.It is concluded that there are 24 morphemes with‘very suitable’ teaching suitability level and 28 morpheme items.There are 57 morphemes for ‘more suitable’ and 166 morpheme items.There are 19 morphemes for ‘general suitable’and 162 morpheme items.Finally,according to the analysis of attributes of morphemes and morpheme items,the application of high-frequency morphemes in vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language is discussed.The strategy and order of morpheme teaching are discussed from the perspective of morphemes and non-morphemes.It is believed that different teaching strategies should be selected according to different types of morphemes.The arrangement of teaching order needs to be determined according to various influencing factors such as the explicit meaning of morphemes,word formation ability and order in the outline. |
