Research On The Application Of Animation Elements In Documentary

Today,with the development of media,the application of animation technology in documentaries is not uncommon.Animation art,with its unique aesthetic characteristics such as symbol aesthetics and color aesthetics,provides a new possibility for the innovation of narrative expression,form and style of documentaries.This paper mainly discusses and researches the application of animation art in documentary,summarizes and analyzes the relevant papers and books related to the subject after carefully sorting out and reading them,and combines practice with theory to apply them to the creation of my graduation work——the documentary "Light Night".This article is mainly divided into five parts.The first part summarizes and expounds the attributes and development of documentary and animation,and pays attention to the integration and differences in their continuous evolution;The second part focuses on the analysis of domestic and foreign examples of the combination of documentary and animation,and combs out the role of animation elements in documentary narration from three aspects: supplementary content,description of emotion,and revelation of meaning;The third part,starting from the aesthetics of animation,analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of animation elements in documentary narration;The fourth part is about the creation reflection of the graduation work "Light Night",which elaborates on the significance of the topic selection,character selection and animation design of this.Combining the creative thinking of the work,it analyzes the shortcomings and obstacles of self-research and practice,and provide new ideas and reference for the later researchers in the animation creation of the documentary from the differences between theory and practice and the application and control of animation elements,so as to promote the richness and diversity of the content in the development process of the documentary.
