The Research And Application Of Traditional Chinese Opera Elements In Animation Character Modeling

This paper,which starts with the history and the development of Chinese opera,summarize the characteristics of Chinese opera formula and virtualization through the analysis of facial painting,Chinese opera costume,props and performance,and get further research the relationship between Chinese opera element and semiotics.Through the analysis and research of Chinese opera elements,we could acknowledge the formal beauty.According to the analysis of animation characters,we could acknowledge the sense of Chinese animation character design,get how could opera elements be used in Chinese animation character design,and summarize the method of it.“Shape”,“meaning”,“colour”,“rhyme” and “spirit” could be used as elements in the design of Chinese animation character,which show the animation character internally and externally.Because they have the same basic aesthetic,Chinese animation character could be combined with opera elements.As artistic symbols,design of Chinese animation character has the function of indication.Firstly,design of Chinese animation character indicates the delivery of good moral characters.Then,it combined with opera elements,which profits the development of Chinese opera.Lastly,it could stimulate consumption.In conclusion,design of Chinese animation character should be combined with Chinese opera elements and creates unique Chinese animation characters.
