Teenagers are the hope of the motherland for tomorrow,and their mental health problems are always one of the most concerned issues of society,school and family.Therefore,how to promote the mental health development of teenagers is of vital importance.At present,many scholars at home and abroad have made relevant exploration,and many research results show that self-identity is an important factor affecting mental health,but there are few studies exploring the mechanism of action.In addition,in the selection of intervention objects,the previous studies took undergraduates as the research object,however,the author found that the students and the mental health level,and may need the research and intervention.In terms of intervention methods,the previous studies used structured group psychological counseling or psychological courses,although the results have achieved different degrees,the intervention form may be too structured,which is not conducive to the improvement of the internal motivation and meet their independent needs.So this study analyzes the study in the specialized subject group of self identity,the basic psychological needs and mental health,and the basic psychological needs in the self identity in the influence of mental health mediation,and innovative using semi-structured motivation interview model group psychological counseling intervention,to promote the specialized subject student mental health to find new feasible ideas and methods.The study was conducted in two parts.Study 1 sampled 603 junior college students from a University in Henan Province,Basic Psychological Need and SCL-90 Symptoms to explore the relationship between self-identity,basic psychological needs and mental health.After data analysis using SPSS26.0 software,the results showed a positive correlation between the three,and the basic psychological needs to play a complete mediating role between self-identity and mental health.On the basis of the results of study one,16 study subjects were selected and randomly divided into intervention group and control group,with 8 people in each group.The intervention group used the semi-structured motivational interview model group psychological counseling intervention participants now self-input and basic psychological needs,the control group did not do any intervention,the group counseling was conducted 6 times,90 minutes each.Before and after the experiment and the statistical analysis of the experimental results,the differences between the three dimensions of self-identity,the three dimensions of basic psychological needs and the total score of psychological symptoms between the two groups were compared,so as to verify whether the motivational interview mode of group psychological counseling can improve the mental health level of junior college students.The general conclusion drawn is as follows:1.There is a positive correlation between self-identity,basic psychological needs and mental health of junior college students;2.The present self-investment and the future self-investment desire of junior college students have a positive prediction effect on the basic psychological needs and mental health;3.For junior college students,the basic psychological needs can be positively predicted,and mental health;4.Basic psychological needs play a complete mediating role between self-identity and mental health;5.Motivational interview mode Group psychological counseling can effectively increase the current self-investment of junior college students and meet their basic psychological needs,so as to improve their mental health level.
