Strange Image Painting Exploration And Personal Creation Practice

As one of the basic ways to grasp the world,art can express its change path through objective record and subjective expression of the real world,and present the individual development state living in the environment and the psychological situation of the whole society.Artists are sensitive to the changing environment and good at grasping the macro and essence from the details.In the face of various problems existing in reality,they tend to expose them in a way full of exaggeration,bantering and irony.Through the subversion and alienation of objective cognition,they express their own thinking and expectations for reality.I pay attention to weird image painting and introduce it into my personal creation practice.I am first attracted by its strange visual presentation,and more importantly,I am infected by the emotion hidden under the image and the intention of caring for the reality.The exploration of weird image painting in this paper is divided into four parts.The first part,through the grasp of weird image painting,defines its concept,and refines and explains its artistic characteristics in image composition and visual presentation.In the second part,through the analysis of the cases of Bosch,Dali and Giger’s strange image paintings,the author abstracts three aspects of their metaphors,namely the reality in fantasy,the reality in dream and the worry in deep sky,and clarifies the metaphorical function and meaning of this type of paintings.The third part is the deep analysis and discussion of the image construction method commonly used in the weird image painting,grasp the core points of the creation methodology.The fourth part focuses on the indicative significance and experience reference of individual painting creation practice,hoping to broaden the way and Angle of cognition of the world in the process of discussion,and obtain the inspiration of taking care of reality and improving the meaning of painting creation.
