A C-E Translation Of Sketch Literature Under The Guidance Of Eco-Translatology

With the development of globalization,the "Go global" of Chinese literature has become an important diplomatic strategy of culture.Chinese literary works have been widely concerned by the world.As a display of cultural soft power,literary translation has become an important way of cultural exchange.Qinling is one of the most important mountains in China.It has an irreplaceable influence on the origin of Chinese civilization and the birth of Chinese traditional culture.Therefore,it is of great significance to do a good job of literary translation with the "Qinling" culture as the background to promote Chinese culture with regional characteristics to go globally.Therefore,the sketch literature The Sketch of Qinling Mountain written by Jia Pingwa,which expresses the ecological culture and social development of the Qinling Mountains,is chosen as a translation practice.The report is based on the English translation of the first seven chapters of The Sketch of Qinling Mountain.In this report,Eco-translatology is used to conduct multi-angle research on the source text on natural social ecology and human social development.The translator summarizes translation practice from linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions,and analyzes 23 translation examples.According to the three-dimensional transformation theory of Eco-translatology,the translator combines the translation strategies of domestication and foreignization,and uses translation approach such as free translation,additional translation and transliteration to solve the problems encountered in the process of translation,such as dialects,idioms and philosophical ideas,to accurately express the main idea and cultural connotation of the source text.The translation report verifies the guiding role of Eco-translatology in the English translation of sketch literature.There are few studies on the translation and introduction of sketch literature,a classical genre of Chinese novels.This practice aims to promote the translation of sketch literature,and has reference significance for relevant translation practices in the future.
