Study On The Nature Of Wang Duo’s Calligraphy And Its Enlightenment To My Graduation Creation

Although Wang Duo was not the first calligrapher to use the method in calligraphy creation,his application of the method was very representative.The ink penetrability phenomenon in the works of ancient calligraphers stems from their mentality of "ink play".The frequent occurrence of ink penetrability phenomenon in Wang Duo’s works has already made it a purposeful means of expression.It is natural,the ink penetrability effect is uncontrollable,forming a block surface with the flow of water and ink fixation.It is also a conscious skill of calligraphers,used by artists intentionally,and becomes a tool for artists to achieve their artistic goals.In Wang Duo’s works,we can see the control of natural ink penetrability and techniques,realizing the beautiful feeling of dripping.In addition,the combination of characters and the layout of chapters in Wang Duo’s creation can also strengthen the integrity of his works and complement the phenomenon of ink penetrability,which is what we need to carefully study on the road of calligraphy creation.This paper explores the characteristics of the ink penetrability phenomenon,explores its unique natural performance,and enriches the aesthetic experience of the ink penetrability phenomenon in use.The purpose of this paper is to explore the overall form and technique of Wang Duo’s works when he uses the phenomenon of ink penetrability to create,to learn the technique of temporary creation and find creative inspiration,and finally apply it to calligraphy creation.
