Research On The Image Of The Elderly In The Home-made Family Ethics Drama In The New Era

Family ethics drama is one of the most important TV drama genres in China.Since the new era,affected by the aging national conditions,family ethics dramas focusing on the topic of the elderly have begun to increase,and a number of outstanding works have also emerged,and many classic images of the elderly have left a deep impression on the audience.The image of the elderly in the family ethics drama is the epitome of the elderly in society,and the analysis of the image of the elderly helps us better understand the family ethics,and the shaping of the image of the elderly plays a vital role in the harmony of the family and even society.On this basis,the author combined his graduation work "Old Guy" to analyze and study the image of the elderly in the family ethics drama in the new era.This paper is divided into two parts: the introduction and the main text,and the author takes the family ethics drama and the image of the elderly as the research object,and elaborates from the aspects of concept definition,literature review,research methods and innovation.The first chapter of the main text uses the relevant knowledge of sociology and cultural studies,after studying a large number of cases,based on the disengagement theory of gerontology theorists Cumming and Henry,the elderly image in the new era family ethics drama is classified as a common characteristic,the elderly image is divided into three types: disabled old people,unbalanced old people and relieved old people,and expounds the connotation of these three types of elderly images and the attribution behind them.The second chapter analyzes the antagonistic construction of elderly images in family ethics dramas in the new era,and studies the antagonistic relationships of the above three common elderly images in the shaping,as well as their unique character functions and character personalities.Based on Professor Lee Hsien Kit’s narrative theory,the third chapter studies and analyzes the theme narrative of the elderly image in family ethics dramas,discusses from three aspects: disease,emotion and economy,and reveals the narrative core and characteristics of the above theme.In the concluding part,the author summarizes and looks forward to the research on the image of the elderly in family ethics dramas.Through the analysis and research of the type presentation,oppositional construction and theme narrative of the elderly image,the whole paper tries to summarize some common strategies for the shaping of the elderly image in the family ethics drama,and hopes to provide some thinking directions and research paths for the creation of the future image of the elderly.
