Reflection and teaching are an organic whole.Reflection is not only an effective way to improve teaching skills and teaching level,but also a key path to strengthen teachers’ professional ability and promote their professional growth.Teaching reflection is helpful for novice Chinese teachers to update their teaching reflection concept,improve their teaching level,and promote their transformation from passive "skilled" to active "reflective practitioner",and advance from novice teachers to proficient teachers and even expert teachers.Taking the 2019 and 2020 Masters of International Chinese Education in Z University as the survey object,this paper uses questionnaire survey and interview methods to investigate the current situation of their teaching reflection ability from five dimensions:theoretical literacy of teaching reflection,awareness of teaching reflection,content of teaching reflection,methods of teaching reflection,and influencing factors of teaching reflection,summarizes the advantages,finds the shortcomings,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.According to the results of the questionnaire and interview,the teaching reflection ability of novice Chinese teachers in Z University is at the medium level,and there is still room for improvement.The teaching reflection ability of novice Chinese teachers should be affirmed as follows: novice Chinese teachers have a positive attitude towards teaching reflection;Teaching reflection consciousness is strong;Teaching reflection content is rich.The shortcomings of the novice Chinese teachers’ reflective ability in teaching are as follows: the novice Chinese teachers’ reflective view in teaching is at a low level;It is difficult to implement teaching reflection in teaching practice;The theoretical quality of teaching reflection needs to be improved;Teaching reflection mode is relatively simple;Lack of a good reflective environment.As for how to improve the teaching reflection ability of novice Chinese teachers,this paper puts forward the following suggestions from two aspects: teacher self-training and improvement of external environment.In the aspect of teacher self-training,novice Chinese teachers should: develop the habit of teaching reflection;Improve the teaching reflection concept;Strengthen the theoretical quality of teaching reflection;Enrich the teaching reflection way;Improve the level of teaching reflection.In terms of external environment improvement,training units should strengthen educational guidance,including schools should set up courses related to teaching reflection,practice units should provide training related to teaching reflection,and schools and practice units should establish teaching reflection evaluation system;Second,we should actively create a reflective atmosphere,including the active implementation of collective lesson preparation and reflection,the creation of reflective Chinese teachers’ lesson preparation group,the establishment of classroom mutual listening and evaluation and observation mechanism,regular teaching reflection exchange meetings. |
