| With the COVID-19 starting in 2020,online teaching has become the most important teaching mode in China,and online Chinese education is no exception.Online teaching became popular in 2020,and I am one of the online Chinese teachers in 2021.In the process of this teaching practice,the author served as a novice Chinese teacher for an Indonesian Chinese learner.With Indonesian students as teaching objects,this paper launched two rounds of action research on how novice teachers conduct grammar teaching in online courses.It is an active and beneficial attempt of action research to explore a method suitable for novice teachers to teach syntax error online one-on-one.Under the framework of action research,this paper conducts teaching practice and action research on how to carry out online one-on-one grammar teaching for novice teachers.The research process is mainly divided into five stages.The first stage is the classroom interview before the action research class;The second stage is to explore and find problems for two months before action research;The third stage is the first round of action research;The fourth stage is the new problems found after the first round of action research and the new teaching plan;The fifth stage is the second round of action research.The two rounds of action research all use the teaching video observation method,teaching log reflection,personal interview records,etc.as the main research methods.In the first round of action research,the teacher used the situational teaching method to correct and teach the syntax error in students’ short essays written by Hsk5.After the first round of action research,a writing test was conducted,and finally a personal interview was conducted to analyze the students’ learning achievements.The results show that students’ grammatical accuracy in Chinese writing has improved rapidly and syntax error have decreased.In the second round of action research,the author found that although syntax error were reduced after the first round of action research,the overall article was illogical.This action research is based on the previous way,plus "logic and conception" teaching,in order to improve students’ writing fluency.The research results show that students use logical words correctly in their essay writing,which is more ’fluent’ than the first round of writing.After two rounds of action research,the author summarized the significance of action research on the online one-on-one grammar teaching of novice teachers using the situational teaching method into the following aspects: first,to solve the problem of grammar teaching that traditional teaching only stays on textbook exercises,which improves the enthusiasm of students to learn grammar;Second,this action research provides an example for novice teaching one-on-one online grammar teaching,which has certain reference significance;Thirdly,promote teachers’ reflection on their own teaching,improve teaching quality,and enhance teaching and research abilities. |
