Exploring The Elegant Life Style Of "Song Rhyme" From Zhao Ji’s "Wen Hui Tu"

This thesis takes Zhao Ji’s(Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty)figure painting "Wen Hui Tu",which depicts the elegant gathering of literati in the Song Dynasty,as the starting point.As a starting point,the thesis begins with the painting itself,and discusses how the painting was created from several aspects,including Zhao Ji’s own talent for painting,social policies,and the background of the painting itself.Secondly,we analyze the artistic characteristics and values of similar Song Dynasty elegant gathering paintings in terms of the thematic content of the painting,the colors of the picture and the life style of the literati presented in the painting.While studying the color and rituals of the Song literati in the painting,we also take a view of the entire Song dynasty,analyze the color style of the elegant life of the literati in the Song scenes from the color itself based on the principle of color science,construct the color atlas of Song rhythm and the color narrative of Song rhythm,explore the aesthetic connotation of Song rhythm,and finally use it as a contemporary design resource for relevant practice and consider the value of Song color culture in contemporary design.The study will also consider the value of Song Dynasty color culture in contemporary design.The research process will involve the knowledge of history,color science,and design.
