Research On The Creation Of Ceramic Wares With The Theme Of The Taihu Lake Stone

Taihu stone and pottery art are indispensable components of Chinese culture,they represent the Chinese people’s continuous exploration of nature and traditional cultural spirit.In the social context,Taihu stone is the carrier for artists to connect with nature;In the context of contemporary art,Taihu Stone has been redefined as a medium for contemporary artists to reflect on the reality that the spirit of traditional culture is dying out.At the same time,ceramic art is the most close to life form is vessels,they are not only practical,but also carry the artist’s aesthetic pursuit.This study will explore the relationship between art and nature and the spirit of traditional culture from the perspective of Taihu stone and ceramic vessels.The research on the creation of ceramic vessels with "Taihu Stone" as the material aims to explore the possibility of the application of the aesthetic image of "Taihu Stone" in the creation of ceramic vessels.In this study,by organizing and analyzing the artistic creation with "Taihu Stone" as the material,combined with the humanistic value and aesthetic standard of "Taihu stone",the paper explores the creation form language of ceramic vessels with "Taihu stone" as the material through sketches and clay drafts,and gradually promotes the process of topic selection.By combining the traditional cultural element of "Taihu Stone" with modern ceramic vessels,this study explores the art form combining traditional culture and modern art,and inherits and develops the traditional cultural element of "Taihu stone" through the form of ceramic vessels.The innovation point of this research is to fully analyze the characteristics of the aesthetic image of "Taihu Stone" and integrate it into the thinking of the creation of ceramic vessels.The research on the creation of ceramic vessels with "Taihu Stone" as the element is not only the exploration of formal language and traditional culture,but also the self-aesthetic pursuit in artistic creation,and the practical significance of thinking in practice,and the transformation of the new identity of "Taihu stone" in society and contemporary art in pottery creation.
