The Expression And Personal Application Of Taihu Stone And Birds In Traditional Chinese Painting

Taihu stones and birds are loved by painters of all ages because of their pleasing images and various beautiful meanings,and they are often expressed in fine brushwork paintings.From ancient times to the present,each painter has his own way of expressing these two themes.Through careful analysis of the excellent works left by our predecessors,we can appreciate the superb techniques used by our predecessors to convey our understanding of Taihu stone and birds,which is of great help to painting lovers.The first chapter introduces the aesthetic characteristics and connotation of Taihu stone and birds.The second chapter selects the traditional Chinese painting works that the author likes from ancient times to the present,and analyzes the painters’ expression of the two themes from the composition,modeling,ink and color.The third chapter introduces the author’s fine brushwork,explains the method of depicting Taihu stones and birds,and states the thoughts and feelings conveyed by the works.
