| Chinese traditional culture is the root of the spirit of the Chinese nation.It contains profound moral norms,ideological qualities and values,which are recognized and accepted by the general public and have extremely rich connotations,and is an important pillar of the development of the Chinese nation.Cultivating Chinese traditional cultural awareness in primary English teaching can effectively enhance students’ cultural identity and patriotic feelings,and promote the spread and communication of Chinese traditional culture.However,in the current primary English teaching,most English teachers focus on the teaching of primary English language knowledge and neglect the cultivation of Chinese traditional cultural awareness,resulting in Chinese traditional cultural awareness not playing a full role in primary English teaching.This study uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,classroom observation method and interview survey method to investigate and study its current situation,analyze its problems and influencing factors,so as to propose strategies that can effectively improve the cultivation Chinese traditional culture awareness.The details are as follows:The first part: Mainly defines the concepts of cultural awareness and Chinese traditional cultural awareness,and summarizes the theoretical basis.The second part: Mainly through questionnaire survey method,classroom observation method and interview survey method,I collected data and information on the current situation of Chinese traditional culture awareness cultivation in elementary school English teaching,and used SPSS statistical tools to analyze the data specifically to clarify the current situation of Chinese traditional culture awareness cultivation in elementary school English teaching and provide a basis for further in-depth research.The third part: Through the analysis of the current situation,I clarify the problems of cultivating Chinese traditional culture awareness in elementary school English teaching at this stage.The main ones are teachers’ indifference to cultivation,students’ lack of motivation to learn,and the lack of implementation of school cultivation.The fourth part: An attribution analysis of the problems of cultivating traditional Chinese cultural awareness in elementary school English teaching at the present stage is conducted from three aspects: English teachers’ lack of initiative in cultivating,classroom teaching not sufficiently motivating students to learn,and low importance attached to it by schools.The fifth part: Based on the results of the analysis of the preliminary status,problems and influencing factors,I propose strategies suitable strategies.It mainly includes: vigorously strengthening teacher training,enhancing the effect of curriculum cultivation,and improving the cultivation atmosphere in schools. |
