Tang dynasty is a treasure in the history of Chinese calligraphy,so the mid-tang period is the most dazzling diamond in the treasure.The period of the Middle Tang dynasty covers the li-tang empire from prosperity to the extreme to the end of the lonely,such a historical span has given the “ People ” as the main body of the calligraphy art infinite possibilities.The change of political and social factors and the exchange and collision of different ideologies laid a pluralistic tone for the calligraphy creation in this period.In the prosperous Tang dynasty,calligraphy had five parts,calligraphy theory developed rapidly,and calligraphy art blossomed with its own characteristics.The An Lushan Rebellion saw empires rise and fall,but the tumultuous society did not hinder the development of calligraphy.On the basis of inheritance,the calligraphy of the middle Tang dynasty presents the magnificence of vigorous and strong and strange,with unique charm.As the main social group of the ancient Chinese feudal dynasty,the literati class inherited the two ends of the base and superstructure and the common people.Its unique identity also created a rich inner emotional world,and the literati belong to the intellectual class,so he became the main contributor in the field of literature and art.Different from the alternation of the old and the new dynasties,the inner activities of the Tang dynasty are different from those of the adherents,so it is of great significance to study the psychology of the scholars in the Tang dynasty.During this period,religion had a deep influence on scholars,and the rise of Buddhism in the prosperous and middle Tang dynasty accelerated the change of scholars’ psychology.Therefore,this paper will be from the impact of the Tang dynasty scholars on the psychological factors of calligraphy,the attitude of scholars to calligraphy,tracing the source,development and change of three aspects.From another dimension to re-understand the changes in the Tang dynasty.
