Calligraphy in the early Tang Dynasty is a transitional period in the history of Chinese calligraphy. In the early Tang Dynasty, calligraphy integrated the southern and Northern styles, and the germination of the new style of calligraphy in Tang Dynasty. In the prosperous Tang Dynasty, the method of seal script writing was used in other calligraphic styles to really open a new style of calligraphy. In the early Tang Dynasty, the relationship between "simplicity" and "Gorgeous" was exterior and interior."simplicity" is contained in the bone, while "Gorgeous" is displayed in the outside. The two styles of "simplicity" and "Gorgeous" are based on one work. This paper discusses the change of book style through the change of "simplicity" more than "Gorgeous" or "Gorgeous" more than "simplicity"."simplicity" and "Gorgeous" in the prosperous Tang Dynasty are two aesthetic orientations, which are separated and exist separately, and they are the relations in sequence. At this time, the calligraphy works are not "partial to simplicity" or "partial to Gorgeous".But first,we can learn the simple taste through studying the ancient, and then we can notice whether the appearance of the work is "Gorgeous" or not.Since the concept of "Tang people's respect for law" by Dong qichang, the Ming Dynasty,it has gradually become a consensus in the academic community. As a result, most scholars only know the strictness of the regular script of Tang Dynasty, but they don't know how to be precise and precise, not to mention how the running script and cursive script are popular, and how the Seal character and official script are formed. These problems will be discussed from the perspective of "simplicity" and "Gorgeous",so as to guide the creation of machines and tools.
