Abstract/Summary:
Lv Fengzi is a famous calligrapher and painter in modern China,an art educator,and one of the pioneers and important founders of the "Jiangsu Painting School".In the modern history of China,he has made remarkable achievements in calligraphy,painting,seal cutting,poetry,painting theory,education and other aspects,and is low-key and indifferent.In recent years,there have been more and more research achievements about Lv Fengzi in the academic circle.Most of them are based on the well-known aspects of traditional Chinese painting,education and artistic thought.However,the research on calligraphy is rare,scattered,systematic and integrated.Although his calligraphy has less influence than other aspects,his intellectual accomplishment and personality pursuit have also made his calligraphy achieve outstanding results,and become the "phoenix style" in people’s mouth.Lv Fengzi received private school education when he was a child,and immediately accepted and studied Western learning under the influence of the social trend of thought at that time.At the same time,he was influenced by family education,which created his independent personality.He inherits and develops his artistic ideas;He also retained a strong personality in his artistic creation,which is fully reflected in his calligraphy works.His artistic thinking and exploration in his calligraphy works also have an enlightening significance that can not be ignored for our current creation.This paper focuses on starting from Lu Fengzi’s calligraphic works,through horizontal and vertical investigation,making detailed analysis,comparison and summary,and exploring the significance of the"phoenix style" book,so as to make a more comprehensive and three-dimensional study of Lu Fengzi’s calligraphic works.
