This project is a case study of Guo Shangxian’s calligraphy.During the Qianjia period,it had a unique significance in the history of calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty,and the emergence of the "Qianjia School" caused a group of literati to be influenced by academic trends and political environment and turn to "Puxue".Park Xueshan’s way of studying has greatly promoted the search and examination of ancient monuments,and then broadened the scope of the collection of scribes’ books.Guo Shangxian,one of the honorable scholars,was bound by family learning and the system of using books to obtain scholars,and he learned the classic teachings of the past generations since childhood,and was influenced by the retro trend of thought of the seal subordinate,and his inscriptions revealed unique insights on inscriptions."Fangjian Guan Inscription" compiles the inscription topography collected by Guo Shangxian throughout his life,and the types of inscriptions and inscription texts included in it vividly restore Guo Shangxian’s unique calligraphy thought,and the publication and publication of this inscription in later generations also reflects a kind of academic trend in the late Qing Dynasty.Starting from the version information,travel situation,calligraphy thought and practical view of calligraphy involved in the Fangjian Guan Inscription,this paper explores the plurality of Guo Shangxian’s calligraphy thought and practice under the influence of the classical concept of bibliography,taking the academic environment of the Qing Dynasty as the background. |
