Authenticity is both a decisive factor for the vitality of realistic painting and a necessary condition for us in our creation.To study the authenticity of painting,we cannot bypass the school of realism.In particular,the 19th-century French reality is a shining chapter in that star-studded art history.Realists,influenced by technological and intellectual progress,believed that only the world that people could see was "real existence." French realist painting in the 19 th century came into being in this context,and masters such as Courbet,Daumier,Le Pager,and Millet emerged one after another.This paper attempts to analyze and reveal the authenticity of French realist painting in the19 th century,aiming to clarify the difference and connection between "real" and "authenticity" in painting creation,and to discuss its possible future development direction in combination with the typicality of realist painting.This article studies and reveals the artistic authenticity of the masters of realism based on the paintings of realist masters.Firstly,from the perspective of Courbet’s Realist Manifesto,this paper analyzes its ideas,distinguishes the differences and continuities between the realist concept advocated by Courbet and the traditional "realism",and discusses the connotation and significance of French realism in the 19 th century.Secondly,the relationship between the truth and authenticity of French realist painting in the 19 th century is explained from two aspects: first,the authenticity of the perceptual level of French realist painting is discussed from the general characteristics and particularity of artistic emotional truth;The second is to explore the connotation of typicality and its theoretical basis based on the authenticity of rationality.Thirdly,by analyzing the significance of the art of realist painting to the present and its inherent limitations,it is revealed that the future realist creative prospect should come from the depth of life or consciousness,and accordingly,explore the inevitability and profundity of the existence of realist painting.Finally,he integrates his own creative practice with the "two for" direction of "serving the people and serving socialism" in literature and art,and studies how to show sincere humanistic care and reflect the characteristics of contemporary social life and the times in realist works,so as to arouse the resonance of viewers. |
