Artistic Creation In The Context Of The Times

The zeitgeist of art is a constant topic,and as society continues to move forward,so does art.The outbreak of the New Crown epidemic is a major event that has occurred in the current era,and as the context of the times for art creation has had an inevitable impact on art.This paper focuses on the impact of the epidemic on artistic creation,combining professionalism with a further narrowing of the scope to the impact of the epidemic on watercolour creation.It is hoped that this study will provide a true record of the times and convey one’s own reflections on art and the times through personal creation.The first part,the second chapter of this essay,focuses on the relationship between past artistic creation and the times in terms of the influence of the times on the artist,the subject matter of artistic creation and the form of artistic expression.The second part,the third and fourth chapters of this essay,elaborates on the reflection of the times in the current artistic creation and watercolour creation of the epidemic,respectively.The third chapter discusses the characteristics and functions of art in the epidemic period and how to embody the period.The fourth chapter focuses on the thematic creation of watercolour during the epidemic period and the epidemic-related creations of well-known watercolour artists,and finally discusses the author’s thoughts and thoughts on the current epidemic period and the process of artistic creation from his own creation.
