To Exploration On The Source Of Watercolor Creation

With the changing times,watercolor present its diversity in china.In recent years,some scholars or painters advocated integrating watercolor with Chinese painting by mixing their materials and techniques together.In form and connotation,it is better to bring the symbols of Chinese culture into watercolor in order reveal the language features and highlight Chinese traditional culture.For the guiding ideology theory,I thank the breakthrough of painting watercolor is not only about the expression of techniques.First of all,there are differences in the traditional culture between the western watercolor and the Chinese painting.Secondly,watercolor expresses the author's thoughts and feelings,mainly reflecting his/her artistic cultivation.Techniques,tools and materials are only the means for creating painting?It cannot simply believe that applying the expressive techniques of painting Chinese painting to paint watercolor can conduct the so-called Chinese watercolor.Thirdly,the national culture is not a superficial phenomenon and not a single form.Finally,facing the impact of foreign culture,it is necessary to promote the local ethnic culture.Based on one's own life,the author can create the works with their own cultural and social characteristics.The watercolor is brought to life by expressing author's love and longing towards their nation.From the above,it reflects that creating watercolor cannot limit on imitating and integrating its expression,but it should be created from the real life.Based on the cultural background and unique skills of every single painter,considering in different respects with authentic feeling,watercolor can be created with Chinese cultural characteristics.This paper is divided into five chapters to discuss the creation of watercolor,whose materials should be studied from the most realistic life by observation,experiencing and accumulation.Through putting mediums into watercolor,integrating with the materials of Chinese painting,the author made his point of view towards the watercolor mixing with Chinese and Western style,pointing out the problems of contemporary Chinese watercolor,analyzing and studying watercolor from Chinese famous painters,exploring how to make watercolor vividly combining with author's own life sentiment,personal experience of painting and artistic accomplishment.Prominent Chinese profound traditional culture,how to create out of the ordinary watercolor painting works,forming a unique artistic style.
