ln the course of the five thousand years of civilization in the Chinese nation,Confucianism has formed the backbone of traditional Chinese culture.The rulers of the Qing Dynasty placed great importance on Confucian culture and made Neo-Confucianism the official ideology,which led to a comprehensive interpretation and development of the Confucian classics,further promoting the influence of Confucianism and the northward spread of Confucianism in modern times.At that time,some Mongolian intellectuals were influenced by Confucian thought and eager to awaken the long-sleeping people with advanced ideas,one of whom was Laxipengsike(referred to as Lashi),whose work Bolor Erike was a product of this era.Bolor Erike is one of the classics of Mongolian historical prose in the 18 th century.In this Mongolian history book,Lashi’s exposition on "benevolence and righteousness" demonstrates the profound influence of Chinese culture on Mongolian culture.This paper focuses on analyzing the historical evaluation in Bolor Erike and studying Lashi’s thoughts on "respecting the people,benevolent government relief","to govern the country,first order the family;to order the family,first cultivate the self",and "Prioritize honor over profit,pacifying the people",attempting to systematically explain Lashi’s benevolent and righteous thoughts.Lashi’s benevolent and righteous thoughts not only retain the traditional Mongolian respect for benevolence and righteousness,but also inherit the Confucianism’s core theory of "benevolence and righteousness".It injects new cultural elements into the traditional Mongolian cultural thoughts,making it inheritable and developed.Interactions,exchanges,and integration among different ethnic groups are crucial for promoting ethnic revival,and ethnic unity is the lifeline of all ethnic groups in the country.Lashi has made certain contributions to the cultural exchanges among ethnic groups.The book Bolor Erike not only fills the gap in Mongolian history books but also enriches and develops the Mongolian concept of benevolence and justice in a new historical stage.Looking at the development process of traditional Mongolian philosophical thought,Lashi’s work has shifted the dominant ideological stage from the destiny theory represented by "Changshengtian" to the stage influenced by Confucianism,which has played an important role in promoting the development of Mongolian philosophical thought history.
