| Founded in the 1950s,Wulan Muqi is a comprehensive cultural institution established by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government to develop and prosper the cultural life of farmers and herdsmen,and to publicize the Party’s policies and guidelines.From the day of its establishment,the grasslands have been dotted with the figures of Wulan Muqi herders,whether in settlements or grazing sites,even if there is only one audience,they perform,and the name of Wulan Muqi herders quickly spreads across the grasslands.The research of this paper takes "the field at the gate of the home" as the starting point,selects Wulan Muqi from Dengkou County,Bayannaoer City,the western county of Inner Mongolia as the research object of this paper,based on field research,from its establishment and development process to its operation mechanism,from performing the artistic characteristics of practice to social functions,from the inheritance and protection of local traditional music genres,etc,The purpose is to analyze and discuss the existence of Wulan Muqi in Dengkou County from the perspective of regional music.The following three issues are mainly discussed: First,from a holistic perspective,observe the process description of Wulan Muqi in Dengkou County from its establishment to its development;Secondly,through field research,it reveals the specific relationship between the local traditional music genre of Dengkou County and the music creation and performance art characteristics of the local Ulan Wulan Muqi;Thirdly,as a local literary and artistic group,the discussion on how Wulan Muqi in Dengkou County influenced or promoted the protection and inheritance of local traditional culture and art,as well as the challenges and opportunities faced in the process.Through the analysis and discussion of the above three issues,we strive to provide local case materials and comparable materials for the current research on Wulan Muqi. |
