Modern Chinese "X Is X,Y Is Y" Frame Structure

Based on the three planes theory of grammar study,this paper draws on linguistic theories and research methods such as cognitive linguistics and construction grammar,and discusses the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic features of the "X is X,Y is Y" two-term double-frame structure in modern Chinese from multiple levels and perspectives.The cognitive mechanism of this frame structure is explained in detail from three aspects: conceptual integration,categorization and construction suppression.This paper is divided into four chapters:The introduction.This paper mainly introduces the reason of topic selection,research significance,research summary,research methods and corpus sources.The First chapter is the study of sentence method.In this chapter,the characteristics of invariant components and variable components of frame structure are investigated.Based on the previous achievements,this paper analyzes the parts of speech of "shi",the characteristics of "X" and "Y" in syllabic features and grammatical unit features.Then,the grammatical properties of "X" and "Y" are described in detail.Nouns,verbs,adjectives,pronouns,numerals,word phrases of "",and equivalent phrases can all become variable components.Finally,the syntactic function of frame structure is investigated comprehensively.It can be used as predicate,object,attributive,adverbial and complement in a sentence.It can also be used as an independent sentence.In addition,it can also be used as parenthesis and clause,which usually appear in parallel complex sentences,causal complex sentences and transitional complex sentences.The second chapter is semantic research.This chapter examines the objective meaning of frame structure,and then summarizes five value-added meanings of frame structure on this basis,which are "black and white" meaning,existence meaning,let escape meaning,deviation meaning and solidified meaning.Then,the semantic relation and ordering characteristics of variable X and Y are investigated.There are five kinds of semantic relation between variable X and Y: synonym,antisense,near sense,distance and correlation.The order of the two is flexible,but sometimes they can not be exchanged at will.They need to follow the order of word formation,cognitive order,social relationship order,idiom order and prosody rules.Through the semantic analysis and investigation of the frame structure,it is found that the frame structure is rich in meaning and plays an important role in practical application.The third chapter is pragmatic studies.The frame structure of "X is X,Y is Y" can appear in comparative context,descriptive context,refuting context and evaluative context.Then,in the aspect of discourse organization,it has the function of opening the topic,undertaking the topic and summarizing the topic.Finally,in the expression effect,it has the effect of strengthening the language potential,expressing praise and accident.The fourth chapter is cognitive analysis of frame structure.Firstly,the concept integration tries to establish a box-like integration level of "X is X,Y is Y",which can be divided into low integration degree,medium integration degree and high integration degree.Secondly,the "X is X,Y is Y" frame structure is explained and analyzed from the Angle of categorization and construction pressing.Conclusion.Summarize the main content of the article,and explain the shortcomings.
