| In the new situation of the post-epidemic era,the demand for international Chinese language education talents is increasing rather than decreasing, and the study of the demand for international Chinese language education talents is still of great practical significance. However, the existing research on international Chinese language education talents is mostly from the perspective of supply, but less on demand, which shows that there is still an obvious imbalance and asymmetry between the research on the supply and demand of international Chinese language education talents. This phenomenon is not only found in academic research, but also in reality. The reality is that most of the talents trained by international Chinese education-related majors move on to primary and secondary school language education in China after graduation, which corresponds to the phenomenon that the supply in the international Chinese education industry has difficulty in meeting the demand.Recruitment information is one of the most intuitive indicators of market demand,so this paper collects recruitment data for "international Chinese language teachers" and " Chinese teachers" through the Houyi collector on 51 job,and Chinese International Education Talent Network.Through quantitative comparative analysis of basic information(structured data)and a combination of qualitative and quantitative text analysis of unstructured texts such as job descriptions,we aimed to clarify the difference in demand between the two types of professions, and to find out what kind of talents are most needed in the international Chinese language education business under the new situation. At the same time,it also provides reference for relevant practitioners to improve industry competitiveness. Finally,a series of analyses led to the following differences between the two:In terms of the jobs themselves, the demand for international Chinese language teachers from domestic companies is much lower than the demand for domestic Chinese teachers, and the salary floor and average salary offered to international Chinese language teachers by the companies concerned are also lower than those for Chinese teachers. In addition, the distribution of international Chinese language teacher positions is narrower and is concentrated in the more economically developed provinces of Beijing,Shanghai,Guangdong,Zhejiang and Jiangsu, while domestic Chinese teacher positions are more widely distributed, concentrated in the more populous provinces of Guangdong,Jiangsu,Shanghai,Hubei and Sichuan, and are also more predominant in terms of the number of positions available. In terms of job requirements, international Chinese teaching positions place more emphasis on the comprehensive competence of the candidate, while domestic language teaching positions place more emphasis on professionalism;international Chinese teaching positions are more inclusive in terms of professional requirements, with no particular mandatory requirements for majors, while domestic Chinese teaching positions are more restrictive, with most positions being limited to the corresponding majors and graduation institutions;international Chinese teaching positions require International Chinese language teachers are required to "be able to accept flexible working hours" and to provide teaching services according to the needs of learners, with relatively high work pressure, while domestic Chinese teachers are under more pressure to improve the quality of teaching and improve student performance, but overall they are less stressed than international Chinese teachers. The above analysis shows that there is a certain possibility of "interchange" between international Chinese teachers and domestic Chinese teachers, which is the similarity between the two.But those with relevant job aspirations should pay more attention to the difference between the two and improve the professionalism and competitiveness required for competent positions. |
