With the expansion of global Chinese teaching, there is a greater need for qualified Chinese teachers. United States plays a crucial role in teaching Chinese across the globe, because there is a substantial part of population in the U.S that is learning Chinese, and the result has been very effective thus far. Teaching Chinese in the U. S requires many native Chinese teachers. However, the insufficient amount of qualified Chinese teachers who are able to teach long term in the United States does not meet this kind of demand. The intent of this research is to analyze the recruiting information and requirements for Chinese teachers from various schools. The result of this research demonstrates the standards of current Chinese teachers in the U. S, and it contributes a vital reference value to cultivate Chinese teachers for the United States. Although research indicates the requirement for Chinese teachers to be employed in the U. S public schools varies from different grade levels, the degree requirements, teaching certification, and the proficiency in both Chinese and English are the prerequisites for becoming Chinese teacher in the U. S. The optimal way to better assist the future Chinese teacher to fulfill the requirements is to cultivate "Ultra-Native Chinese teachers" who have thorough understanding of Chinese and American culture and are capable of communicating fluently in both Chinese and English. At Minzu university of China, many Chinese education majored students are benefitted from the "1+2+X" teaching model, this model is worth to be implemented in cultivating "Ultra-Native Chinese teachers". The discovery in this research will provide valuable perspectives for Chinese teachers to understand the requirements and expectations to teach Chinese in America, it also contributes a reference when they are looking for a job in America. At the same time, the discovery contributes to cultivating qualified Chinese teachers for the United States.
