| With the new media era with the rapid development of digital technology,have great capacity,real-time and highly interactive advantages of the electronic reading,is gradually influencing and changing people’s life and reading habits,to the entity books brought impact and challenges,also for the design of the entity books outlook provides a new enlightenment and breakthrough point.At the same time,the development of modern economy and the improvement of living standards have shifted mankind from the past obsession with materialism to the pursuit of non-material experience.Book designers have also gradually realized that in the era of "experience economy",the design of physical books needs to pay attention to readers’ reading experience,meet readers’ multi-level reading needs,and provide them with personalized experience.As a way of expression and an important means of experience,interactive design can provide a new perspective for the study of physical book design,promote book design to break away from the dimension of graphic expression,form a different posture,establish a strong link between people and books,enhance the sense of participation and experience of the audience,and create a unique reading experience.In this paper,based on the above research background,this article first analyzes and integrates relevant materials and reading status,summarizes the evolution process of current book design concepts,and deeply analyzes the advantages and experiential factors of physical books.On this basis,it summarizes the connection between interactive design concepts and physical book reading experience,and discusses the development process and current status of physical book interactive design,The purpose is to clarify that interactive design is an important reference item for book design performance,and to systematically analyze and discuss it,so as to break through the rationality of traditional book design thinking.Secondly,through investigation and research,analyze and summarize the factors that can have an impact on the interactive design of physical books,in order to explore the feasibility of its practical application,and lay the foundation for the summary and elaboration of specific design methods.Furthermore,through research on the application characteristics and thinking methods of interactive design,combined with in-depth analysis of relevant cases,this study interprets how to provide readers with a reading experience through interaction from three aspects: sensory,behavioral,and situational aspects,in order to obtain relevant ideas and methods for guiding book design.It is then introduced into one’s own design practice to verify the practicality of theoretical research and ultimately return to theory for improvement,Develop a methodology for the application of interactive design in the field of book design.Finally,an outlook is presented on the application trend of integrating and supplementing physical books,a traditional medium,with new media interaction methods.The existing application forms are summarized and organized,with the intention of exploring new paths for the development of physical book interaction design in the information age.Through the above research,this paper aims to update the theoretical system of book design,extend and expand the traditional book design methods,so as to provide a theoretical basis for future book design practice,enrich the manifestation of book design,improve the overall quality of book design,and make physical books achieve further innovation and improvement on the basis of inheriting and preserving their essential characteristics. |
