The interdiscrimination of all kinds of handicrafts, mainly lacquer, porcelain and gold and silver crafts during the Song and Yuan dynasties is a phenomenon of intermingling, and the interdiscrimination of handicraft production organizations in Jiangnan during this period is typical and representative. From the Song and Yuan dynasties, lacquer, porcelain, gold and other handicraft industries in the Jiangnan area were developed in the environment.Focusing on the form of influence and derivative relationship of mutual appreciation on the characteristics of porcelain calendula techniques, and then summarizing the laws of deduction, synergy and new creation of handicraft techniques in Jiangnan during the Song and Yuan dynasties. It is concluded that the mutual appreciation activities during the Song and Yuan dynasties pushed the porcelain industry to evolve new materials and new methods, leading to the concentration of regional layouts and the solidity of skills inherited, and bringing food utensils into the aesthetic standard of life. The porcelain calendars are discussed as a centerpiece of the phenomenon of craft exchange it embodies and the intersection of technical, perceptual, and aesthetic fields implied by this phenomenon.Based on the historical definition of the Jiangnan region and consideration of the background of handicraft development in archaeological data, the scope of the study is further defined as an area.It is argued that the migration of artisans triggered by cross-regional interoperability and the borrowing of skills driven by imitation or perception activities were the two motivating factors for the transformation of porcelain calendars in the Song and Yuan dynasties, with the transmission of new lacquer, pottery, and gold and silver craft systems in the Jiangnan region and the flexibility of merchants to be hired and the integration of production and sales in this environment. The identification of handicraft styles and regional comparisons based on Song and Yuan porcelain calendars from Jiangnan can provide a reference for the development of the characteristics of Jiangnan handicrafts and assist in the regional analysis of handicrafts. This dynamic pattern of multi-layered intermingling and materialization of the utensils illustrates the logic of the development of the utensils influenced by the interlocking and interplay of artisan production and social reproduction, and presents the ecological evolution of the multi-dimensional intermingling of ancient Chinese crafts.
