A Study On The Process Of The Sinicization Of Marx’s View Of Practice And Its Cultural Influence From 1915 To 1949

The concept of practice is the fundamental viewpoint of Marxist theory and the fundamental principle for understanding and transforming the world.From a historical perspective,the establishment of the concept of scientific practice is the logical prerequisite for the birth of Marxist philosophy,which provides the most solid and fundamental foundation for Marxist philosophy;Every step of the development of the scientific concept of practice also brings about significant developments in Marxism.The vitality of theory lies in its application.In guiding China’s revolution,construction,and reform,Marx’s concept of practice has demonstrated its enormous vitality,especially its special theoretical connotation and practical significance,which have been greatly inherited and developed in the process of China’s modernization.It can be said that the sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice is a key for us to grasp the issue of sinicization and modernization of Marxism.Marx’s concept of practice has undergone a long process of development in China,which can be divided into four stages.First of all,from 1915 to 1927,Marx’s concept of practice underwent an early process of dissemination: from the initial translation of the concept of "practice" at the beginning of the introduction of Western learning to the East,to the ethical "practice" of criticizing Confucianism,and to the "practice" of solving "problems" and guiding "doctrine" in the "Three Great Debates".During this period,early Marxists’ understanding of practical content focused on the social transformation of productive forces and revolutionary practice,while their understanding of practical principles emphasized the interaction between practice and theoretical guidance.Their understanding of practical goals was defined as "two transformations.".Secondly,1928-1937 was the formative period of the sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice.With the development of the revolutionary practice road and the summary of the revolutionary struggle experience of the CPC,Mao Zedong wrote "Against the Essentialism" and "On Practice",which marked the formation of the Chinese thought of Marx’s concept of practice.After that,1938-1945 was the mature period of the sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice.The establishment of the ideological line of "seeking truth from facts" is a high summary and generalization of the historical experience of the CPC,and is also the theoretical essence of the sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice.Finally,1946-1949 was a period of further development and application of the sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice.During this period,the CPC has developed into a mature political party,and has always unswervingly adhered to the "seeking truth from facts" attitude from military strategy,political decisionmaking and other aspects."Seeking truth from facts" is a theoretical upgrade to the sinicization and modernization of Marx’s concept of practice.In general,the process of sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice is from the initial translation of the concept of "practice" to the subsequent "investigation and research",to the "social practice" in Mao Zedong’s "Theory of Practice",and finally to the "seeking truth from facts" thought.This indicates that the process of sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice is a gradual improvement process from scratch,from revolutionary practice to theorization,and from immaturity to maturity.At the same time,the historical process of the sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice has had a tremendous cultural impact.On the one hand,the dissemination of Marx’s concept of practice in China has promoted the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture;On the other hand,it has promoted the change of the understanding of the CPC people represented by Mao Zedong,produced rich theoretical achievements,formed a sinicized Marxist concept of practice with "seeking truth from facts" as the core,and has also had a broad impact on Chinese social culture.History has proven that Marx’s concept of practice exhibits strong epochal and theoretical value in the process of the Chinese revolution.Today,in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,we still need to inherit and develop Marx’s concept of practice from the perspective of historical development,promote the development of Marx’s concept of practice in the new era,and further highlight the practical significance of the sinicization of Marx’s concept of practice.
