Research On The Artistic Characteristics And Singing Of The Musical Segment "Poetry

The singing section of Verse is from the musical Butterfly,the musical Butterfly is created by Sanbao,Guan Shan,Li Dun,adapted from the well-known poignant love story Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai in China,Verse as the first in-depth communication between the male and female protagonists,paved the way for the heroine’s subsequent emotional transformation,and laid the foundation for the development of the plot,played a vital role,very artistic and difficult singing skills.With the episode Verse from the musical as the research object,the paper will analyze it from three aspects as follows:First,introduce the creation background of Verse and dissect the characters in the musical;Second,conduct research and analysis for the music structure of the episode and elaborate its artistic characteristics;Third,analyze its singing method and further explore the artistic processing and emotional expression of Verse.All these efforts aim to better bring the musical to the stage and express the artistic conception and connotation of Verse.
