| The ultimate goal of learning Chinese is to communicate fluently in Chinese.The purpose of this study is to analyze and quantify the communicative nature of 360 Standard Sentences in Chinese Conversations series textbooks from the perspective of the theory of speech communication,and to put forward suggestions for the communicative design of elementary oral Chinese textbooks based on the feedback of international students and experienced teachers.The introduction part of the paper introduces the background of the topic,literature review,research objectives,research objects,research content and research methods.The first chapter explains the concept of communicative teaching materials and proposes the evaluation framework of communicative teaching materials.The second chapter is the analysis of the teaching material writing style and communicative culture.The communicative nature of the writing style is reflected in the module setting of the teaching material and the multimedia supporting resources,while the communicative nature of culture is reflected in the communicative cultural content of the cultural section and the cross-cultural communicative factors of each section.Chapter three refers to the international Guidelines for Chinese Education,and interprets the communicative characteristics of the texts from three levels: speech,topic and function.Chapter four analyzes and sets up the communicative degree table of communicative exercises from the three aspects of question type,instruction and topic,so as to accurately measure the communicative nature of each question type.The fifth chapter is the survey and feedback of teachers and students to understand students’ perception of the use of the textbook and teachers’ teaching situation.The sixth chapter summarizes the above analysis results,and based on the self-designed communicative evaluation table of textbooks,the author obtains 77 points for the communicative evaluation of 360 Standard Sentences in Chinese Conversations series textbooks.Based on the feedback of users,the author puts forward the following suggestions to strengthen the communicative nature of oral teaching materials: to build a real and natural three-dimensional teaching system;Explain the communicative culture with Chinese characteristics;To arrange communicative topics that learners are keen on,and to increase the interpretation of communicative functions;Design communicative oral practice in various communicative situations. |
