"Memories Of Eight Watercolor Paintings" By Tan Dun Analysis And Interpretation Of Works

This paper takes the piano suite Memories of Eight Watercolor Paintings as the research object,starts from the music itself,analyzes the musical structure,melodic form and harmonic texture of this piano suite,and summarizes the musical creation characteristics of "Xiangchu folk song elements","Hunan Huagu opera" and "folk culture scene" in this suite.This work is elaborated and analyzed by using the method of literature combing,music analysis and practical exploration.By combining my own playing experience and performance experience,the specific performance treatment of this work is explored,so as to find out the regional,national and local characteristics presented by this work,and provide certain theoretical reference for performance.
