Character is the writing symbol system that records language,and it is the most important auxiliary communication tool.Chinese,as the only uninterrupted language in the world,is the language of the Han ethnic group,and Chinese characters are the writing symbol system for recording the language of the Han ethnic group.In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching of Chinese characters must be inseparable,and the teaching of Chinese characters has always been a difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the prototype theory,this paper takes the commonly used part "heart" as the starting point,combines with the character "heart" in the textbook "Developing Chinese Elementary Literacy I Ⅱ",and takes the meaning of "heart" as the prototype to teach Thai students to learn the character "heart".Through component splitting and game teaching,the difficulty of Thai students in learning Chinese characters is reduced and the efficiency of students in reading and writing is improved.At the same time,through the collection and sorting of homework,and the use of questionnaires and interviews to understand the Thai students’ "heart" word acquisition situation and problems,statistical data detailed analysis,finally according to the analysis results of teaching reflection,put forward teaching suggestions.This paper is mainly studied from five parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly includes research background,research purpose and significance,research status,research content,research methods and theoretical basis.The second part is the primary reading and writing class "heart" part word analysis.The number and distribution of the "heart" characters in Developing Primary Chinese Reading and Writing ⅠⅡ were counted and analyzed respectively from the form structure and meaning of the "heart" characters.The third part is the investigation of the teaching situation of "heart" in the elementary reading and writing class of Thai students.Through the analysis of students’ homework completion and questionnaire survey results,combined with the interview content to understand the situation of Thai students’ acquisition of the word "heart",and finally summarize the three aspects of the survey results.The fourth part is the elementary reading and writing class "heart" teaching design.It includes analysis of teaching related elements,instructional design and feedback of teaching effect.Instructional design includes "Feeling Better and Better" and review lesson.The fifth part is the reflection and suggestion of "heart" part character teaching.The teaching suggestions are carried out from three aspects: practice,learning method and teaching,in order to improve learners’ learning errors and provide teaching reference for teaching Chinese characters as a foreign language.The conclusion summarizes the whole thesis and points out the shortcomings of this thesis.
