A Pragmatic-based Study On The News Language Of "Rural Revitalization" In Yunnan Channel Of People’s Daily Online

The report to the 19th CPC National Congress put forward the strategy of "rural revitalization" and stressed that solving problems concerning agriculture,rural areas and farmers should always be the top priority in the work of the whole Party.Mainstream media closely follow the national policies and guidelines,actively interpret the rural revitalization strategy,report news on the theme of "rural revitalization",tell good stories of "rural revitalization",and promote the full implementation of "rural revitalization" work.As a window facing Yunnan,Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online combines the regional characteristics and multi-ethnic cultural characteristics of Yunnan in reporting the theme of "rural revitalization",and has outstanding features in the use of language.From an interdisciplinary perspective,this paper takes pragmatics,journalism linguistics and language communication as theoretical support,uses literature research,quantitative and qualitative combination,comparative research and other research methods,and takes the news report of "Rural revitalization" on Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online from January 1,2020 to December 31,2022 as the research corpus.The paper analyzes the characteristics and rules of the news language application of "Rural revitalization" in Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online.The research content of this paper mainly includes four chapters:The first chapter,based on the two basic principles of cooperation and appropriateness in verbal communication,analyzes the specific criteria of the news language of "rural revitalization" in Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online.The second chapter is the focus of the research on the topic.It mainly uses the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the pragmatic strategies and manifestations of the news language of "rural revitalization" in Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online from the aspects of words,sentences,discourse and rhetoric,and discusses the role of pragmatic strategies in news language communication.The third chapter mainly summarizes the characteristics of the use of language in the news report on the theme of "rural revitalization" of Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online,as well as the pragmatic functions of information transmission,public opinion guidance,cultural transmission and image construction.The fourth chapter is an in-depth reflection on the use of news language in People’s Net’s "Rural revitalization" theme report.On the one hand,it analyzes the contextual factors that influence the formation of the "rural revitalization" theme news language phenomenon in Yunnan Channel of People’s Net from the perspective of objective factors such as time-space context,time background context,network context,topic and stylistic context and subjective factors such as media context and audience context.On the other hand,from the perspective of improving the language communication influence of Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online on the theme of "Rural revitalization",combining the advantages and disadvantages of Yunnan Channel of People’s Daily Online,this paper puts forward suggestions from two aspects of improving the quality of language information and enriching the ways of language expression.In order to provide reference for the central media news website local channels to do a good job of "rural revitalization" theme news reports or news reports on other topics.
