Effective English test paper review class can help students make up for knowledge defects,complete the knowledge system,so as to improve students’ ability to analyze and solve problems.In senior high school English teaching,test paper review is an indispensable part with a large percentage of the overall classes.However,there are many problems with test paper review class,among which the biggest problem is the low classroom teaching efficiency.Based on current literature,there is not much research on this aspect at home and abroad.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to deeply explore the relevant problems of English test paper review class.This study is an experimental study,aiming at exploring the effectiveness of the application of cooperative learning mode in English test paper review class for Grade3 of senior high school.Three questions are specifically studied:(1)Can the application of cooperative learning mode in English test paper review class for Grade3 of senior high school contribute to improve students’ academic performance?(2)Can the application of cooperative learning mode in English test paper review class for Grade 3 of senior high school help students develop a positive attitude towards English test paper review class and stimulate their learning interest?(3)Can the application of cooperative learning mode in English test paper review class for Grade3 of senior high school improve students’ learning behavior before,during and after class? The subjects in this study are students from two classes of Grade 3 of senior high school: one class is the experimental group which adopts cooperative learning mode in English test paper review class,and the other class is the control group which adopts the traditional teaching mode.The experimental tools include questionnaires,tests and interviews.The experiment lasted one academic year.The experimental results show that the application of cooperative learning mode in English test paper review class for Grade 3 of senior high school is helpful to improve their learning effectiveness: it can improve Grade 3 students’ academic performance of senior high school;it can help students hold a positive attitude towards test paper review class and improve their learning interest;it can improve students’ learning behavior before,during and after test paper review class.
