A Study On Wangbai’s Poetry

Wang Bai was one of the four scholars in Beishan.As the direct descendant of Zhu Xue,he devoted his life to the study of Neo-Confucianism and took it as his duty to inherit Zhu Zi’s Neo-Confucianism.His achievements in Neo-Confucianism have always been valued.Wang Bai currently has more than 400 poems,which are rich in content and distinctive in artistic characteristics.However,there are few researches on Wang Bai’s poems in the academic circle.This paper takes Wang Bai’s poems as the research object,conducts an in-depth analysis on the content and artistic characteristics of Wang Bai’s poems by classification,and explores the reflection of Wang Bai’s thoughts in his poems.First of all,from the perspective of understanding people and judging the world,this paper systematically combs Wang Bai’s life,writings and thoughts,and discusses Wang Bai’s life experience of not being an official all his life and devoting himself to Confucianism.This paper introduces Wang Bai’s works of Fan-fu in different categories.Secondly,more than 400 poems of Wang Bai are classified into four categories according to subject matter.Social songs and poems are wide in content and strong in thought,carrying Wang Bai’s extensive social experience,but also the true feelings of Wang Bai’s heart;The poetry of painting scenery and chanting things explains the principle of all things in plain and concise language,and forms the beauty of logic and interest of the unity of heaven and man and the coexistence of physics.The painting poem describes the scenery in the painting and conveys the characteristics of being rich in spirit and having both divine form and spirit.Wang Bai’s lament poems are numerous,which not only reflect the feeling of mourning but also reflect the neo-Confucianism’s thinking on life.His lament poems for women have delicate feelings,which enrichis the content of his lament poems.Wang Bai’s poems expound a lot of meaning,but not confined to preaching and preaching.The artistic characteristics of poetry are distinct,with various genres and styles.He uses comparison and classics to expound the meaning and principles,presenting a diversified artistic style.Thirdly,it expounds the embodiment of "One unified principle and different embodiments" and "Theory of righteous spirit" in Wang Bai’s poems,and analyzes the phenomenon of "vitality" in his poems.In his poems,Wang Bai combines concrete things with moral principles to elaborate his thoughts and express moral principles,and avoids plagiarizing and boring preaching,enriching the content of his poems.In a word,the in-depth study of Wang Bai’s poetry,his poetry ideological connotation and artistic style are discussed,see a more three-dimensional image of neo-Confucianism.Through Wang Bai’s poems,we can understand Wang Bai’s thought more comprehensively.His poems reflect the influence of Wang Bai’s Neo-Confucianism on literary creation.Wang Bai’s thoughts and poems are interdependent,full of both the philosophy of neo-Confucianism poetry and the ingenuity of literati poetry.
