The Digital Design Strategy Of Hokkien "ICH" Glove Puppetry

With the rapid development of science and technology and the acceleration of digital process,people’s life,entertainment and aesthetic needs are more diversified.The art form of traditional culture needs to keep pace with the times.However,the sudden emergence of new industries has caused a non-negligible impact on traditional culture,and its art forms has been more difficult to gain people’s interest and attention.As a traditional Chinese culture and national intangible cultural heritage,Hokkien Glove Puppetry is also facing the challenge of development.In order to fully understand its social development,audience distribution,evaluation and satisfaction,the similarities and differences on both sides of Fujian and Taiwan,this paper,based on the experience needs of the audience in Hokkien Glove Puppetry,carries out the research on the application and design of digital media art from a multi-dimensional perspective.In the early stage of the research,this paper conducted in-depth analysis and research on the Hokkien Glove Puppetry and digital design.Then it established an "SD-AHP" analysis model based on the "People-oriented" concept of sustainable design.Finally the paper constructed an evaluation index system for the Hokkien Glove Puppetry.At the stage of investigation,the paper fully capture the audience’s evaluation,preferences and needs of the Hokkien Glove Puppet Dram to explore the feasibility between digital design and the Glove Puppet,through field investigation,semantic difference analysis,hierarchical analysis and factor analysis,qualitative and quantitative research methods.According to research findings,the "lighting effect" of the visual layer,the "exploratory desire" of the perceptual layer and the "story plot" of the cultural layer,can be used as the core point of the digital design of the Hokkien Glove Puppetry in the evaluation and analysis model.Based on these three design points,this study will propose corresponding digital design strategies,in order to optimize the audience’s viewing experience,improve the attention and influence of this intangible cultural heritage,so as to better protect and inherit its Glove Puppetry.
