As an important thinker and aesthete in late 19 th and early 20 th century China,Liang Qichao had his own unique and profound insights in the field of literature and art.His concept of "True Art" called for a spiritual realm of literature and art,emphasizing the individual characteristics of the creative subject,focusing on emotional elements as the core,and connecting literature and art with life to demonstrate the national spirit of Chinese aesthetics.This paper takes Liang Qichao’s concept of "True Art" as the research object,combines the examination of the historical background and cultural origins,explores and analyzes its basic content,and discusses its main characteristics and contemporary value.Chapter One serves as an introduction,which introduces the current research status of relevant issues,outlines the research content and methods of this paper,highlights the innovative points,and explains the purpose and significance of the research.Chapter Two focuses on the investigation of Liang Qichao’s Chinese and Western cultural background,particularly exploring the influence of Taoist natural purity and Buddhist selflessness on the concept of "True Art," as well as the absorption of Kant’s aesthetic emotional thought and Bergson’s philosophy of life aesthetics.This chapter aims to uncover the cultural origins of Liang Qichao’s concept of "True Art."Chapter Three systematically summarizes the basic content of Liang Qichao’s concept of "True Art." Firstly,Liang Qichao advocates that the creative subject should be a "true person," with personality characteristics of "true temperament," "true heart," and the practice of "true truth." Secondly,the core of creative expression should embody "true emotions," which includes authenticity,intensity,and breadth.Finally,the creative realm should reflect "naturalness," which encompasses natural expression in writing and a state of mind where actions flow effortlessly.Chapter Four discusses the main characteristics of Liang Qichao’s concept of "True Art." On the one hand,from the perspective of the relationship between "True Art" and life,it elaborates on the realistic direction of "artistic people" and "artistic life" embodied by "True Art." On the other hand,starting from the distinct educational implications presented by "True Art," this chapter extracts its emotional education direction and guidance for artistic creation,expounding on the theoretical value and practical significance of Liang Qichao’s concept of "True Art."...
