After the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese government attached great importance to the construction of the rule of law in China and raised it to an unprecedented level.Based on the achievements and lessons learned from China’s past construction and development,Xi Jinping has made a comprehensive and in-depth exposition of this issue using the basic principles and thinking tools of Marxist philosophy, put forward new theories, new strategies and new ideas, and formed a complete and systematic theory with strict logic and rich connotation-Xi Jinping’s thought on the rule of law.Xi Jinping combines Chinese reality with Marxist theory, sets goals, draws blueprints, and proposes methods for the construction and development of China in the new era.At the same time,it proposes many new concepts and ideas on how to better achieve the current goals of China, especially the path of building a rule of law in China.Xi Jinping ’s thought of rule of law inherits the essence of Marxist philosophy, absorbs the essence of Lenin’s thought of law,and conducts research from both theoretical and practical aspects based on China’s actual national conditions. The Xi Jinping rule of law ideology is not only a guiding principle for China to achieve the goal of a rule of law country, but also an important theoretical achievement that combines Marxist legal philosophy with Chinese reality. It provides strong guarantees for China’s better construction, especially for the construction of a rule of law country and government, and the development of a rule of law society. It also provides valuable experience for other countries and regions around the world to build a rule of law civilization system.Xi Jinping proposed the path of adhering to the rule of law in socialism with Chinese characteristics, emphasizing the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity on the rule of law track, adhering to the socialist rule of law system with Chinese characteristics, clarifying the goal of building a rule of law in China, and fully reflecting the ontological significance of Marxist philosophy.Xi Jinping pointed out that China’s rule of law thought must always be based on the practice of China’s rule of law construction, and promote the development of the rule of law through the practice of socialist construction. In this process,it needs to strengthen the construction of a high-quality team of rule of law workers with both ability and integrity, which fully reflects the meaning of Marxist philosophy epistemology.Xi Jinping pointed out the need to understand the construction of the rule of law in China within the dialectical landscape of universal connections, adhere to the people-centered approach, adhere to the comprehensive leadership of the Party, grasp the "key minority" of leading cadres, and understand the construction of the rule of law in China from a developmental perspective; From a global perspective,we will use systematic methods to jointly promote the rule of law, rule of law,and administration in accordance with the law, comprehensively promote scientific legislation, strict law enforcement, fair justice, and universal adherence to the law,and coordinate the promotion of domestic and foreign rule of law;Fully utilizing the method of contradiction analysis to correctly handle the relationship between the rule of law and the economy, the relationship between the rule of law and politics, the relationship between the rule of law and reform, the relationship between the rule of law and the rule of virtue, and the relationship between the rule of law and the rule of the party are profound and vivid manifestations of Marxist philosophical methodology in the thought of the rule of law.
