Huaiyang cloth tiger is a folk handicraft with a strong local flavor in Huaiyang,Henan Province.The simple but not simple plastic arts contain totem worship,ancestor worship,fertility worship and folk belief.At present,the research field of Huaiyang cloth tiger is mainly in the artistic characteristics,cultural connotation,inheritance and protection,and the research on artistic characteristics and cultural connotation is not deep enough,and there is a lack of research on the organic combination of Huaiyang cloth tiger and modern graphic design.Therefore,it is of certain research value to summarize the artistic aesthetic characteristics of Huaiyang cloth tiger,refine the elements as the entry point and integrate them into the modern graphic design.First of all,by integrating the literature and data,the research status of Huaiyang cloth tiger is summarized,and the folk customs of Huaiyang area and the origin and development history of Huaiyang cloth tiger are sorted out.On this basis,based on the pictures of Huaiyang cloth tigers collected from literature,inheritors and field investigation,the artistic characteristics of Huaiyang cloth tigers are analyzed and compared with the cloth tigers in Lingbao City,Shaanxi County and Junxian County of Henan Province.Secondly,the artistic aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotation of Huaiyang cloth tiger are analyzed,and the factors affecting the artistic aesthetic and cultural connotation of Huaiyang cloth tiger are revealed.After analyzing the questionnaire survey,the innovative application of the design principle and design method is analyzed.Finally,this topic takes the Huaiyang surname culture as the innovation point,combines the Huaiyang cloth tiger elements,uses the three-dimensional style of the Huaiyang cloth tiger graphic innovation design,presents the flat surname pinyin in the form of posters,and applies it to the fashion derivative single products.Through this study,let the Huaiyang cloth tiger fashion,promote the development of Huaiyang cloth tiger.
