A Study On The Narrative Character Of Infant Play In The Song Dynasty

Due to the influence of politics,economy and culture in the Song Dynasty,children’s groups received great attention.Therefore,there were many works of baby play in this period.These works really showed the appearance and social life of children at that time through narrative techniques,and expressed the painter’s inner feelings.This article will take the narrative as the starting point to explore the works of infant drama in the Song Dynasty,mainly from the following aspects.The first is to define the baby play picture and narrative painting,and roughly sort out the causes of the development of the baby play picture narrative,so as to have a preliminary understanding.Secondly,collect and integrate relevant graphic and text data,and analyze the narrative content,narrative techniques and the performance language of the picture on the basis of previous research results.In this paper,the narrative content is divided into two aspects,which are the performance of the market life and the symbolic meaning,to intuitively feel the games and life scenes of children in the Song Dynasty;The narrative technique is discussed from the space-time construction and array layout of the picture;The expressive language is to explore the influence of the lines and colors of the picture on the narrative.Finally,the narrative and contemporary art creation are combined to show and analyze the creation results through the author’s personal creation.Through the study of the narrative of the picture,we can better learn the narrative content and the expression of skills in traditional painting,and bring more possibilities for the creation of contemporary meticulous figure painting.
