Research On The Modeling Of Li Song's "Baby Play Picture"

Children at Play is an independent subject because its funny molding is different from other paintings.Li Song,the court painter in the Song Dynasty,is an outstanding representative of CHILDREN AT PLAY.This paper takes “Paintings of Children at Play” of Li Song as the research objects,analyzes their modeling,and conducts discussion from two aspects.Firstly,this paper analyzes the causes of his painting style from the perspective of his representative works,and shows his pursuit of realistic aesthetics;secondly,this paper analyzes series of “Paintings of Children at Play” of Li Song from the perspectives of pattern,line,color and space to show that Li Song uses rich lines and light color for character description and method of exaggeration and distortion to highlight features of characters;in addition,the layout of the whole paintings pays more attention to convergence & divergence and pays less attention to distance.For arrangement of object,image and space,the overall layout of paintings realizes perfect artistic effect.Finally,this paper,through research and analysis,discusses inspiration of “Paintings of Children at Play” modelling to my creation,reflects on the shortcomings of my painting creation and makes an improvement.
